Our World

Global Beginnings

Baker & McKenzie was founded over 60 years ago as a global firm. Today the Firm has offices in 26 of the world's 30 largest economies, those economies contributing more than 85 percent of the world's GDP. As a trainee you will regularly work with colleagues across the Firm at all levels. You will gain practical first-hand experience of working on multi-jurisdictional projects for universally recognised household brands. We also offer secondments to trainees enabling you to gain valuable experience from working overseas.

Current trainees have used the words 'personable', 'open', 'friendly' and 'diverse' to describe our culture. In essence it is founded upon respect for each other. Our Office

A Pivotal Global Role

London is Baker & McKenzie's largest office globally. It plays a pivotal role in the global Baker & McKenzie network and coordinates many of our multi-jurisdictional transactions. However, the office is of a size where trainees will never feel anonymous. There is a team culture across our 12 key practice areas so relationships are easily established and developed through client work, training and social events.
